- The water reservoir in Thara Park in Krabi Town has a well-maintained 1.2-kilometer concrete path. A flat course loops around the reservoir. It isn’t shaded, so be sure to bring plenty of drinking water. Be aware that some runners have reported dogs in the area, so carry a stick and that should keep any dogs at bay.

- The Loh Dalum Beach shoreline (1.5 kilometers) on Phi Phi Island provides a challenging course with its soft sand. Running closer to the shore will give you a more firm surface.
- Also on Phi Phi Island is Tonsai Bay where there is pavement from the Tonsai Tower cliffs, past the hospital, Phi Phi Cabana Hotel, the police station, the Phi Phi Don Chuket Resort restaurant, the mosque, the Andaman Beach Resort and finally to the Phi Phi School. The route is approximately 2.8 kilometers.
- The waterfront in Krabi Town has a long boardwalk that is approximately 2 kilometers in length. It is an extremely popular place to walk, jog or run in the evening, when the temperatures start to cool.
- The Phra Ae Beach, just south of Klong Dao in Koh Lanta, provides an excellent course for runners and joggers. The shoreline, surrounded by coconut and pine trees, is straight but with a varied terrain, which adds a bit of a challenge, if you want one.
